Your Dreams Are Yours
en·tre·pre·neur

a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.I love this word, Entrepreneur, I love everything about it, The spelling, the way it looks when in print and everything that confuses people when they hear it. I love the way it makes me feeling when I say it. Taking on greater than normal financial risks… It does leave out some other important definitions that really apply. The financial risks can be deadly to most who live in the world of nine to five. One day you’re riding high with deals on the horizon and the next day they can disappear as quickly as the appeared. So, I thought I’d cover the financial first because it’s the one that everyone who isn’t an Entrepreneur will hang their hat on as to why they’ll never take the walk into this magical world. But there’s a far more extreme challenge to face if you decide to take the journey and it hits you from a direction that you would least expect it to come from, family and friends, close family and friends.I’ve been doing this for a long time now and have pretty much heard it all from anyone and everyone who cared enough to voice an opinion, which you mostly hear from third party gossip. So as you’re battling the financial, you start to see the attacks from the people close to you. I’ve given it a lot of thought over the years or maybe mostly just figured out the reasons why and now quickly identify it without much effort or thought. People fear the unknown, even when it doesn’t concern their immediate life or lifestyle. They’re too afraid to take the chance themselves and really don’t want you to because, what if you made it, what if you are successful. Then their life will stay as it is, while you’re off on a new adventure. That’s when the second phase can and usually does kick in, the “oh they won’t make it phase” They’ll be back, who do they think they are phase, it has many variations but follows the same common theme, verbally destroy the entrepreneur to validate your life or job, you know, the one the entrepreneur just possibly walked from.Yes, that word I love so much, Entrepreneur… it comes with a lot of power, mystery, confusion, heartache, jealousy, anger, happiness, success, failure, stress, freedom, solitude and so many more emotions and baggage,, but I love it so and would not change my way of life title for any other or anyone… That’s why we do what we do… Right?
